Tecumseh Bread & Pastry is a premier bakery in Lenawee county, being the first of its kind to offer hand-crafted from scratch croissants, fresh milled & locally grown flour in all products, and delicious crusty sourdough breads without the use of commercial yeast. Established in 2016 in Tecumseh, Michigan, operating out of a catering companies building during off-hours, we quickly became a small-business with a wonderful following of customers thanks to our community and commitment to our standards.
Today we operate as a husband and wife duo to make our fine selection of daily breads and pastries and are proud to have become the first certified Viennoiserie & double certified Guild baker in the US.
Tecumseh Bread & Pastry is a proud member of the Bread Bakers Guild of America and represent the growth and development of the Michigan Grain Economy, Farming and continuation of Baking's rich heritage. We are a classic bakery that has no shame using butter, eggs, milk and excellently grown wheat to make our products so wonderful.
